Molded from a custom-made concrete mix the fixture echoes the personality of its place of creation, Brooklyn’s industrial sector; an area comprised of cement and brick, production warehouses that outlive the newest trend of its gentrifying neighbors. The fixture’s aggregate coloring and smooth feel present the piece as utilitarian while its straightforward design emits a minimalist air. The lamp is suspended by a black nylon-wrapped wire and should complement any area with its simplicity while remaining inimitable with its ingenuity.
The result is a structure whose physicality won’t dominate the designated space--only its effect. With a limited edition of 22 in creation, the hand crafted hexagonal pendant lamp captures the character of the manufacturing industry while avoiding its systematic and detached production system.
